She has her issues about her body and how attractive she is, but Nick makes those insecurities crumble. Every woman needs a man who can make her feel that way.
Nick is a playboy. He likes women and not relationships. So when he and Lucy end up naked on the side of the road, he is shocked and ohhh so horny. He never expected to be in this situation with her, yet he has fantasized about it for years. But, Nick didn’t want to ruin his relationship with her or her brother by doing anything with Lucy.
Lucy and Nick are wonderful characters. They are a lot of fun and it’s nice to see them both grow throughout Finally His. Both Lucy and Nick have some self-doubt issues that they need to overcome as well as a few lies and secrets they haven’t shared. These could lead to trouble as the two grow closer.
Finally His is a fun, sweet, loving, and passionate short story that hits all the right notes. The characters are well developed even with the smaller page count. Emma Hillman manages to draw the reader into the lives and emotions of her characters leaving us wondering what is next for them. I would recommend Finally His to anyone looking for a passionate love story.
